Kemnal Park Launch 3rd October 2013

Official opening of Kemnal Park Cemetery & Memorial Gardens, the largest and most important cemetery to open in the London area in recent times. As Interior Designer of the contemporary Chapel building, it was a great pleasure to be invited back to the formal opening of the building and memorial gardens. The afternoon was a wonderful event led by instrumental
performances; a children's choir form West Lodge School and an opening speech from "The Worshipful the Mayor of Bromley Councillor Ernest Noad" followed by performances from Jodie Elms singing "Angel" and "Colour of Wind" before the ribbon cutting ceremony, unveiling of the commemorative plaque and poignant releasing of doves in memory of those funerals that have taken place at Kemnal Park. The afternoon was a great opportunity to return to the Park to see the now completed Chapel interior; the setting of the landscaped lawns and Memorial Rose garden as well as a good catch-up over tea and cake with many staff members of the Kemnal team. A wonderful day...wishing Kemnal Park every future success! Carmen Evans.Interior Surfaces Designer for Kemnal Park Cemetery and Memorial Gardens. http://www.kemnalpark.org/
